KIMMCO promotes sustainable energy through effective insulation

Insulation specialist, Kuwait Insulation Material Manufacturing Company (KIMMCO), teamed up with Leminar Air Conditioning to conduct a seminar under the topic “Insulation and Sustainable Energy” to show how thermal insulation is a key component in sustainable buildings. The seminar was attended by some of the biggest contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and architects in the Middle East construction industry.
Shahid Khan, Hannes Visagie and Dr. Kailash Chandra from KIMMCO explained and demonstrated how applying mineral wool insulation for HVAC ductwork, building envelopes and roofs are particularly effective in creating energy savings. Other topics covered included the importance of mineral fiber insulation in reducing noise pollution for buildings.
